THE VENUE - 2024

The venue for the 2024 NAMHO conference is Kernow Resilience Hub, a conference centre in the heart of Cornwall's mining legacy, just off the A30 in Pool, near Camborne and Redruth.
The Camborne and Redruth area that surrounds the venu was designated World Heritage Site status in 2006 by UNESCO as part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape. This accolade means it's recognised as having cultural importance on a global level, like the Acropolis in Athens and the Taj Mahal in India.
There are a number of mining attractions in the area such as East Pool Mine and King Edward mine, Geevor and Poldark. Sadly, Heartlands (image above) was going to be the venue but Cornwall County Council pulled the funding and the conference had to be moved a few hundred metres to the current venue, Kernow Resilience Hub.

Conference Reception will be at there along with all talks, exhibitors, social events and evening catering. The bar will be there too, run by the Hidden Earth bar team. Please note that the venue has asked us to post this notice:
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING KERNOW RESILIENCE HUB
The Building is a Martial Arts Centre.
Training and Activities continue 7 days a week from mornings till evenings for all Ages and Abilities.
This will continue throughout NAMHO Weekend – WE will occupy part.
Therefore The NAMHO Committee have decided that No-Dogs will be allowed – Sorry Folks!
The venue will be open from 1200 on Friday 28th June but you might get roped in to some organising if you arrive that early!
Exhibitors / Trade Stands
We hope that Starless River (caving tackle) and Moore Books will be present at the conference.
