NAMHO Members

Members list  |  Handbook introduction  |  By area  |  By interest  |  Affiliates  |  Museum members  |  Other museums  |  Reps list

This section lists all the organisations that are currently members of NAMHO. In the on-line handbook, you can also select to view sets of members according to their activities or geographical areas.

From this page, you can get access to the detail which used to be contained in the NAMHO handbook.  Copies of the last version of the handbook are still available but it is considered that publishing the handbook as web pages will mean that the detail can be kept more up to date. The original introduction to the fourth edition can be read on the handbook home page.  A separate page contains a map showing the locations of museum members and further information about the museum entries. Information about affiliated organisations is included on a separate page but the affiliated members are listed below.  Click on the link symbol (link) below to go direct to the member organisation's website.

You can also identify members by interest and members by geographical area of activity.

Any organisation wishing to join NAMHO should in the first place contact an officer of the organisation (ideally the Secretary) but, to provide the relevant details, there is an application form which contains some explanatory notes.  This can be downloaded here.
