ACCOMMODATION

Camping in 2019This year, we can offer accommodation options on and near the site and there are other hotels and bed & breakfast locations to choose from in Redruth.

Camping:
From the Friday to the Monday nights, we have facilities to camp on the adjacent Redruth School grounds including use of the school showers and toilets.  Camping on the school grounds includes parking motorhomes for the weekend although there are no electrical hook-ups available.  The distance from the campsite to the hotel is very short as the bat flies but to walk round will probably take about 15 minutes or 5 minutes by car.

Bedrooms in Penventon Park HotelTo take up the camping option, you will need to book and pay for this through the on-line booking system.  There will also be events in the Tamar region of Devon and Cornwall on the following Tuesday and Wednesday.  We have arranged for camping at Morwellham Quay for the same price as at Redruth.

Hotel:
As an alternative, the Penventon Park Hotel is offering a discounted rate to delegates.  You must book this yourself direct with the hotel (telephone: +44(0)1209 203 000) informing them that you are a delegate at the NAMHO conference.  The booking code for the discount is "mining2020".  It may be of interest to partners (or delegates, for that matter) that the hotel offers spa facilities to its guests at extra cost.

In due course, we will obtain and post on this page an accommodation list for the Redruth area.  The organisers regret that they cannot make bookings for accommodation at the hotel or any other hotels in Redruth or the Tamar district.

A provisional list of accommodation extracted from the Internet can be downloaded here: accommodation list. This list may be refined later.
