CATERING - 2025
Link to conference mapThe conference organisers have arranged food for Friday evening, and Saturday evening. We are currently looking into the best way to offer lunches on Saturday and Sunday.
All of these are bookable via the conference booking system.
Friday Evening
Friday evening is predominantly a social occasion, to catch up with friends old and new over a drink. There will be a full buffet including: Home baked Beef, Home baked Ham, Cheese board, Quiche, Sausage rolls, Pasta with tuna and sweetcorn, Couscous with mixed fruit, Rice salad, Mixed fresh salad, Variety of pickles - onions, gherkins, olives, beetroot and mixed pickle, Coleslaw, Potato salad, Variety of crisps, New potatoes and Warm baguette and butter. If that's not enough, there will also be a dessert of Lemon meringue pie.
Apart from the veggie options in the buffet, there will also be an option for the dessert.
Saturday Lunch
We are awaiting details of what will be available.
Saturday Evening
It is planned that we have a two course meal with Home-made steak pie, chips and peas; Home-made Lasagne salad and garlic bread; Chicken curry chips/rice; Cheese and onion pie chips and peas; or Veggie lasagne salad and garlic pitta bread. For dessert there is Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream or Fruit salad. As we are not sure yet whether we need to tell the caterers how many of each course, the options are not yet on the website.
Sunday Lunch
We are awaiting details of what will be available.
Sunday Evening
Facilities close to the venue are limited but some suggestions for local places to eat may be added in due course.
Lecture Breaks
Tea and coffee will be available during lecture programme breaks.
Breakfasts
We will not be providing any breakfast options.
Bar
In line with other NAMHO conferences, there will be a bar on the Friday and Saturday evenings. The organisers have taken measures to ensure an adequate supply of liquid refreshment. The challenge will be to see whether we can out-drink a rugby club!
