The mine is accessible by appointment or on ‘open days’ but only to parties interested in mining history. The normal route for visitors is about 1/4 mile long and takes about 1 1/4 hrs to complete. There is a short stooping section as you enter, and then the roof can be low in sections, but is generally easy walking. |
